Russia in Dialogue with U.S. on Detained People, Putin Says
President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia described talks with U.S. officers over two detained People, Evan Gershkovich, a reporter for The Wall Road Journal, and Paul Whelan, a former Marine and company govt, as “difficult.”

My colleague, the Wall Road Journal correspondent Evan Gershkovich has been held in Lefortovo Jail with out a trial for 37 weeks. His detention was right now, once more, the extension on his detention was right now, once more, upheld. Paul Whelan, one other U.S. citizen, has been in jail for practically 5 years. A spokesman for the U.S. State Division, which considers each males wrongfully detained, not too long ago stated that Moscow had rejected what it referred to as a considerable supply to return each of them to the US. Is that true? What’s going to it take to carry them house?
