The Moldovan president’s canine has bitten the hand of Austria’s President Alexander Van der Bellen.
President Maia Sandu had been strolling together with her visitor within the grounds of the presidential residence in Chisinau, when he tried to pet her canine and the etiquette faux-pas occurred.
The canine, a rescue referred to as Codrut, had been frightened by the variety of individuals close by, President Sandu stated.
President Van der Bellen was later seen with a bandaged hand at his subsequent assembly, with the speaker of Moldova’s parliament.
Moldova, which borders Ukraine and Romania, has been internet hosting talks with Austria and Slovenia, in its efforts to hitch the EU.
